Time Winder

Time Winder: A time and physics-based Puzzle Game.

In Time Winder, you must use time manipulation and solve physics-based puzzles. Each puzzle showcases a different aspect of the time manipulation mechanic. 

Originally developed for Gamebridge 2025, this early tech demo showcases the core concept — with more puzzles and refinements planned ahead of the event.

Controls:

WASD - Movement

Mouse - Look

Left Click - Rewind time (not available when holding an object)

E - Pickup an object

(Hold) R - Reset Game

(Hold) F - Throw held object

Escape - Close Game

Solutions (!Spoiler Warning!):

Puzzle 1:  (Teaches rewinding) Very easy, watch the collapse, then rewind by holding left mouse button to clear the passage.

Puzzle 2: (Teaches grabbing and throwing) Again, easy, find a small rock from the collapse, and throw it into the signposted chute to open the door.

Puzzle 3: Grab the rock from behind the bars and quickly place it on the pressure plate. Run to the other side of the now retracted bars, and rewind time to bring the rock back to place on the subsequent pressure plate. 

Puzzle 4: Rewind time and jump on the rocks as they rise/fall in order to cross the bridge (wacky physics can help here!)

Puzzle 5: No puzzle, just a stress test for 100 simultaneous rocks (similar to the initial collapse), but the rocks move randomly. Rewind them at your leisure.
